Programs for students
Polish Heroes
The AJC has launched a new educational initiative for high school students about Polish Righteous among the Nations. The knowledge and understanding gained through the workshops prepares the participants to act as student guides in the Polish Heroes: Those Who Rescued Jews exhibition at the AJC.
The program is comprised of four interactive workshops on the subject of rescue of Jews by Poles in Nazi-occupied Poland. The workshop, and the exhibition, present the stories of a number of Polish Righteous, including an interview with Professor Michał Rosciszewski, a Righteous from Krakow.
The Polish Heroes project is based on the photographic exhibition Polish Heroes: Those Who Rescued Jews, which is currently on display at the Auschwitz Jewish Center.
